Pediatrics

For pediatric emergencies and trauma care, we recommend Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, where specialized pediatric services are available.  

When your infant, child, or adolescent receives care at Broadway Medical, you have access to a dedicated team of pediatricians, nurses, mental health practitioners, and medical assistants who put the patient first. We embrace families as our partners in care and believe parents know their child better than anyone. Our foundational belief is that all families are unique, and we want every patient and family to feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for.  

Broadway Medical provides comprehensive pediatric primary care from birth through young adulthood. We combine evidence-based medicine, preventive care best practices, pediatric expertise, and common sense to deliver the highest quality healthcare for every child we see. Our team brings experience and advanced training to provide care across the full spectrum of childhood health including newborn screening, routine well-baby and well-child visits, acute illness care, chronic disease management, and minor office procedures. 

A positive experience at the doctor’s office can shape a child’s relationship with healthcare for life, and we take that seriously. Our therapy dog Ruby is a special member of our team who helps make our clinic a place that kids look forward to coming to. Many of our young patients feel more relaxed during visits when a calm, friendly dog like Ruby is nearby. She is onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to be with patients who are anxious or nervous about their visit to the clinic.

Prenatal Visits 

We welcome expectant parents to meet with any of our pediatricians. This visit provides time for the parents and the physician to begin building a trusting relationship to last through all a child’s developmental stages.     

Behavioral Health 

Emotional well-being is an important part of overall health. Broadway Medical offers mental health counseling and medication therapy management for most behavioral health concerns. We offer counseling services to individuals, families, and children that incorporate talk, play, and observation to find pathways towards well-being. Our licensed Behavioral Health Specialists assist with childhood transitions and behavior issues, depression, relationship challenges, problems coping with work, school or home life, and other issues causing emotional hardship. Our services are delivered in a safe and supportive environment and are individually tailored for each patient.
