Dr. Anne Vestergaard was drawn to pediatrics by the joy of working with children and their families. What keeps her going year after year, aside from countless cute kid moments, are the long-term relationships she builds with her patients and their families, and the privilege of being there for them through all of life’s big moments. She is focused on helping families navigate and enjoy, with a sense of humor, all the years of childhood and works to support families developing good habits that promote childhood health.
She also enjoys working with patients through the struggles and victories of the adolescent years and is available to support the transition from late adolescence into early adulthood.
Dr. Vestergaard loves calling Portland home and appreciates the community’s openness and compassion, and the city’s amazing food scene. Outside of the office, she enjoys watching her beloved Trail Blazers, spending time with friends and family, reading, cooking, eating out, and going for walks. She also speaks a very limited amount of Danish, which she offers up whenever the opportunity arises.
