Surgical Oncology is the field of medicine that uses surgery to treat cancer. Cancer surgery is often one part of cancer treatment, along with radiation, chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy treatments. Our surgeons work closely with medical oncology teams and our radiation oncologists to coordinate patient care to achieve the best outcomes.
Our surgeons have extensive experience and typically sub-specialize in certain types of surgical oncology, such as melanoma, endocrine, colon or breast cancer.
