Ear Tubes - ENT East Division
Ear tubes are placed in adults and children who have problems with chronic or recurrent ear infections, or in patients who have chronic fluid behind the ear drum causing hearing loss. In adults, tubes can often be performed as an in-office procedure, whereas it is most often done under anesthesia in the operating room for small children.
