Dr. Nathan Zvejnieks chose to specialize in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine to care for patients in the ICU, where evidence-based medicine and physiology guide complex treatments. Dr. Zvejnieks feels privileged to help patients breathe easier, improve their quality of life, and effectively manage pulmonary disease. He values the ability to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while working alongside exceptional colleagues.

Dr. Zvejnieks has a special interest and training in robotic bronchoscopy and endobronchial point-of-care ultrasound (EBUS). He also enjoys teaching and values the opportunity to work with medical students and residents.

Outside of work, Dr. Zvejnieks takes advantage of the Pacific Northwest’s year-round outdoor opportunities. He likes exploring the Oregon coast, hiking local trails and the Columbia River Gorge, and skiing on Mt. Hood and other mountain activities. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and children, family, and friends while biking, hiking, skiing, and kayaking.
