About Me

To me, the best treatment plans are a balance between evidence based medicine and compassionate, individualized care. To provide a high standard of care, I am relentless in assuring that patients have received the required follow up care or instructions. I am passionate that patients be provided the highest quality of GI care possible.

- Michelle Beilstein, MD

Dr. Beilstein earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She also completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Beilstein spent one year receiving specialty training in therapeutic biliary and pancreatic endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also served as a clinical instructor of medicine. She joined Gastroenterology Specialists of Oregon (now The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology - South) in 2004. Dr. Beilstein has special interest in gastrointestinal oncology with a particular focus on pancreatic, biliary, and esophageal cancer.
 
 
Other Interests: 

When Dr. Beilstein is out of the office, she likes to spend time with her husband and two children.
