Dr. Christina Huang was drawn to radiation oncology because of the meaningful connections she can form with patients while supporting them during a vulnerable time in their lives. She has a special interest in women’s health and gynecologic cancers and values helping patients understand their options and make informed decisions that reflect their individual goals. She also appreciates the collaborative, team-based approach to cancer treatment and working closely with specialists across different areas of medicine.
Dr. Huang’s clinical interests include high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy for gynecologic and prostate cancers as well as fiducial marker and rectal spacer placement. As part of her training, she completed a rotation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York focused on HDR prostate brachytherapy.
Dr. Huang enjoys Portland’s friendly community, green spaces, and walkable neighborhoods. Outside of work, she spends time hiking, crafting, playing tennis, and trying new restaurants.
