Training for Tough Mudder Races:
1. Avoid Ankle Sprains
by practicing balancing exercises.
2. Avoid Blisters
by ensuring you have well-fitting shoes and invest in quality supportive socks.
3. Avoid Plantar Fascitis
by stretching and foot and calf muscles.
4. Avoid Stress Fractures
by making sure you are training steadily. 10% increments per week are suggested and be cautious with minimalistic foot wear.
Finally, remember that to train for these types of races that you cannot limit yourself to one type of modality of training, such as running, biking, or walking.
