June 8, 2026: Broadway Medical Clinic is Joining The Oregon Clinic!

For more than 80 years, Broadway Medical Clinic has proudly provided comprehensive primary care while serving the individuals and families of our community.

By joining The Oregon Clinic, Broadway Medical is strengthening our ability to collaborate more closely with specialty colleagues across the Portland Metro area. This enhanced coordination allows us to maintain the personalized primary care you know and trust at our familiar N.E. Broadway location.

You probably have questions about how your experience may change as a patient of The Oregon Clinic Broadway Medical. Below is key information about insurance coverage, bill payment, and our new patient portal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your experience as a Broadway Medical patient will largely stay the same!

  • We will transition to a cash-free payment model at our office. If you prefer to pay with cash, we will still accept cash payments at The Oregon Clinic administrative office.

Our Pay Your Bill page will be updated on June 8 with all the payment link options for Broadway Medical patients. There you can also learn how to make cash payments if that is your preference.

One of the things we’re looking forward to the most is our transition to Epic for our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Epic’s software provides a single, comprehensive medical record that helps our care team spend more time focused on patients.

Epic is used by leading healthcare providers and hospitals across the country. The Oregon Clinic has been using Epic since June 2024.

We will begin using Epic and MyChart by Epic, a powerful patient portal on June 8th.

The MyChart by Epic patient portal is used by many healthcare providers in our community, so it may already be familiar to you. With MyChart, you can use your computer or a mobile app to:

  • Easily view your health record, with all your MyChart providers in one place
  • Message your care team
  • View your lab results
  • Schedule an appointment with Primary Care or Pediatrics
  • View your appointment details
  • Complete your e-check in forms
  • Pay a bill online

Visit our MyChart Information page for detailed FAQs about MyChart.

We are very excited about the opportunity for patients to schedule appointments for primary care and pediatrics using MyChart!

At this time, online scheduling is not available for dermatology or behavioral health but that is coming soon.

You can sign up for MyChart on or after June 8 using one of the following options:

  1. When you schedule an appointment with us for June 8 or later, you’ll receive an activation link by email and/or text.
  2. Four days and two days before your visit, you will receive an eCheck-In that includes a MyChart sign up link.
  3. Ask the front desk team for an activation link at any time.
  4. Use the MyChart app or website to sign up.

Starting June 8, you will be able to message your doctor or practitioner through MyChart after your next appointment with them or when our office sends you a message.

Please call us to connect with your care team until your MyChart messaging is activated.

The medical data being transferred from NextGen to Epic includes:

  • All your immunization and patient history data
  • 3 years of your demographics, historical visits/appointments/encounters, vitals, notes, lab results, and scanned documents.

Other data, such as medications, problems, and allergies is dependent on each patient.

NextGen will be deactivated on June 7th. You will still have read-only access to your archived health information on NextGen.

Through June 7, 2026, you can request your or your child’s medical records by visiting broadwaymedicalclinic.com/questions/medical-records.

After June 8, you’ll visit Request Medical Records here on oregonclinic.com to download and submit an authorization form.

Either way, your records can be sent to a new provider or to you directly.
