About Me
The small nutrition and lifestyle changes I make with patients during each appointment can have a major impact on their gastrointestinal health and wellbeing. I strive to build relationships with my patients where they feel heard and understood. Each appointment is tailored to what the patient needs at that time so they receive the care that will help them the best.
Stephanie has been interested in gastroenterology (GI) and nutrition from a young age, as gastrointestinal diseases run in her family. Since high school, she has been researching the impact that nutrition and lifestyle have on the gut.
Stephanie began her career in gastroenterology by working in a pediatric gastroenterology clinic. There, she sharpened her knowledge of the Low-FODMAP diet and witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact this therapeutic diet can have on treating various functional GI disorders. Stephanie also taught many patients the practice of intuitive eating, including those with eating disorders.
Stephanie loves to explore all Portland has to offer, including the diverse culture, numerous outdoor activities, beautiful views, and exceptional food scene. Stephanie enjoys cooking up new meals for her and her husband, weight lifting, boxing, playing the piano, going to brunch, and watching baseball.
