Natalie Duimstra was drawn to neurosurgery by its intellectual challenges, the complexity of the brain and spine, and the profound immediate and long-term impact treatment can have on a person’s life. She is passionate about helping patients navigate complex neurological conditions and connecting them with personalized, evidence-based treatments that reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life. 

With more than 15 years of experience caring for people with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, Natalie has worked across the continuum of care from the ICU and hospital setting through outpatient follow-up. This experience allows her to anticipate needs, guide recovery, and partner closely with patients and their families to achieve meaningful goals. She values building strong relationships and helping people access the treatments and resources that support the best possible outcomes. 

Outside of the office, Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys swimming laps, trying new recipes, mountain biking, hiking, and getting lost in a good book.
