Lauren Rynders first became interested in the science of ears, hearing, and hearing loss after taking a sign language class in middle school. That early interest grew into a career she loves. Working with patients from their very first hearing diagnosis all the way through fitting hearing aids and adjusting to a new way of hearing is a special aspect of Lauren’s work. Her goal is to make sure every patient understands their hearing test results and feels confident and comfortable with their hearing technology.
Lauren loves Portland for its bike-friendly streets and greenways. She is a year-round bicycle commuter, and is proud to have racked up far more miles on her e-bike than on her car. Lauren also appreciates the city’s easy access to nature close to home and in the surrounding area, and its great food and restaurant scene. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, knitting, and spending time with her family and two small dogs.
