Dr. Jaime Scott chose gastroenterology for its diversity of disease processes, the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, and the hands-on nature of endoscopy. She believes that knowing her patients before a procedure makes a real difference, helping them feel comfortable and confident in her care. What Dr. Scott finds most meaningful about her specialty is its ability to improve quality of life in ways that are concrete and visible. 

Making a positive impact on the people she cares for drives Dr. Scott’s work every day. She is an approachable and skilled endoscopist and takes pride in building trusting relationships that put her patients at ease.  

Dr. Scott loves that Portland offers the energy and food scene of a large urban area along with easy access to vineyards, farms, the ocean, and the mountains. Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring the agriculture just outside the city with her husband and daughter, whether that means apple picking, berry picking, or discovering a new winery. Dr. Scott also has two dogs and is a lifelong equestrian.
