Ms. Christison graduated from Clark College in Vancouver WA with an associate degree in nursing. She was accepted into the first surgery fellowship offered to new grads at Emanuel Hospital and trauma center in Portland Oregon, where she was trained as a scrub and circulating nurse in many specialties. During her 12 years at Emanuel, Ms. Christison completed a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Linfield College and a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Washington State University. During her Master’s training, she completed specialty training in numerous fields, including neurology. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She remains a member of AORN: the Association of Operating Room Nurses, and is a CNOR: Certified Nurse of the Operating Room. She works at The Oregon Clinic Neurosurgery. Since joining The Oregon Clinic, Ms. Christison has added RNFA to her list of credentials, enabling her to assist in all surgeries performed by The Oregon Clinic Neurosurgery.
Outside of work, Ms. Christison enjoys photography, family, and wine tasting.
