Claire Boenisch chose to specialize in neurosurgery and spine because it demands a high level of attention to detail that keeps her learning and growing as a practitioner. Neurosurgery is a vast field that is always progressing, and she enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions while making a meaningful difference to her patients in both the clinic and the operating room.
Claire appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with patients, their families, and the clinic care team to achieve the best possible outcomes for the patient. She takes time to learn about her patientsā lives and create treatment plans that put their individual needs at the forefront. Claire considers it a privilege to care for people and offer guidance during times of distress, and values the long-standing trusted relationships she builds with her patients and their families.
Portland is the ideal home for Claire, with easy access to hiking and camping, great food, and the chance to be near family and friends. Outside of work, she spends time with her partner and family, crafting, reading, being outdoors, and traveling.
