Dr. Anne Rader is a board-certified pathologist with specialized training in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. Her goal is to provide accurate, timely diagnostic expertise while upholding the highest standards of patient care and working closely with physicians and healthcare teams across The Oregon Clinic. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Rader has combined clinical practice with leadership, education, and mentorship. She previously served as an Associate Professor at Oregon Health and Science University, where she directed the Medical Student Pathology Fellowship Program, the Cytopathology Fellowship Program, and the Division of Cytopathology. She also served as Director of Cytopathology and Consulting Physician for the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center. 

Teaching and lifelong learning have always been central to Dr. Rader‘s work. She received OHSU’s Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award for five consecutive years and has been recognized by the College of American Pathologists and other professional organizations. She has coauthored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and presentations, and has been invited to speak at regional, national, and international medical meetings.  

Outside of work, Dr. Rader enjoys biking, hiking, and travel.
