Abigayle Callender AuD, CCC-A

Connection is at the core of the human condition. We enjoy community, family and loved ones. In order to enjoy these things to the best of our ability, we need optimal hearing and communication. Abigayle chose this profession because she wanted to connect people back to their world and their lives. It can be lifechanging!

Abigayle spent nearly 8 years at Pacific University’s School of Audiology, where she trained graduate students how to be competent, compassionate clinicians in the on-site audiology clinic where she served as a clinical preceptor and clinic director.

Abigayle thinks her patients are the best! She has had many adult children thank her for improving the lives of their aging parents. She has seen countless positive changes in patient demeanor, communication and the pure joy on their faces after receiving appropriate amplification.

Abigayle is originally from New Mexico but has been in Portland for 10 years. What she loves about the Portland metro area is how green it is. Combined with beautiful weather and the amazing things to do outdoors, not to mention the food, it has become home for her and her family. Outside of work, Abigayle enjoys spending time with family, enjoying the beautiful scenery, gardening, and sprucing up her home.
