Newest group will double the number of orthopedic specialists at The Oregon Clinic
Portland, OR – November 10, 2022 – The Oregon Clinic (TOC) is excited to announce that Orthopedic Specialists will join the organization in April of 2023, becoming “The Oregon Clinic Orthopedic Specialists”. Founded in 1973, Orthopedic Specialists has been providing comprehensive orthopedic care to the Portland Metro region for 50 years. Their board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeons complement TOC’s current orthopedic team with expertise in trauma, joint replacement, sports medicine, shoulder surgery, spine surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and hand surgery.

Orthopedic Specialists, P.C. brings four board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeons to The Oregon Clinic:
- Stuart Montgomery, M.D. is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in shoulder surgery and sports medicine.
- Gavin Button, M.D. is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in spine. He also has a Master of Science in chemistry.
- Jeffrey Mercer, M.D., Ph.D. is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in foot and ankle reconstruction. He also has a Ph.D. in neurosciences.
- Lindsay Stone, M.D. is board certified in plastic surgery and fellowship-trained in hand surgery. She also has a Master of Science in global health.
The group also brings three Physician Assistants – Anthony Eames, Taylor Fielden, and Sean Conley – and 16 excellent staff to The Oregon Clinic.

The Oregon Clinic Orthopedic Specialists offers a variety of services including knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, knee replacement, hip replacement, shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair, spine surgery, sports medicine, fracture care, foot and ankle reconstruction, hand and plastic surgery. They will continue to see patients at their existing location at the Providence Portland Medical Center Professional Plaza in Northeast Portland.
