The Oregon Clinic’s Cardiovascular Medicine division welcomes David Schroeder, MD. His interest lies in general cardiology. He most recently worked as a cardiologist at Legacy Good Samaritan and Emanuel Hospital with Pacific Heart Associates.

Dr. Schroeder received his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson University (Rutgers) in New Brunswick, N.J. in 1997.  His internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship were completed at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

Originally from northern Calif., Dr. Schroeder now lives in northeast Portland with his wife and two daughters and enjoys spending time outdoors and playing music with his family.  He is also an avid runner and biker.

“I am committed to patient-centered care, balancing the best of high-tech medicine with the basic concepts of wellness and prevention.  I strive to listen carefully to the concerns of my patients, and understand their background so that I can help them achieve their healthcare goals,” said Dr. Schroeder.
