Portland Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group
For people living with pulmonary fibrosis or any interstitial lung disease.

January 16 Meeting

  • Topic: Pulmonary Rehab and taking care of our physical being
  • Presenter: Linda Gilham, DPT Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital
  • Linda Gilham, DPT, is a physical therapist with the Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation program at Good Samaritan Hospital. Linda has been deeply involved with the pulmonary fibrosis community for many years and has vast clinical experience with people living with pulmonary fibrosis. Linda was also instrumental in helping to get this support group going when it was just three people in the room in 2009 and was a previous facilitator. She will be sharing her perspectives on the value of pulmonary rehabilitation from a physical and psychological perspective and what things are important to focus on when you are living with an interstitial lung disease. 
  • After Linda’s presentation, we’ll have time to introduce new members as well as update each other and share resources. A member of The Oregon Clinic pulmonology group will also be available to answer questions.

Portland Lung Transplant Support Group
For people considering, pursuing, or recovering from a lung transplant, patients who are affected by any lung disease, and their caregivers & supporters are welcome.


Both meetings are:

  • Free and open to the public
  • Small and informal
  • Easily accessible with free parking
  • Coffee and tea provided
