As a foregut surgeon, Dr. Talha Rafeeqi treats a broad range of disease, from cancer to reconstructing anatomy, often in new and innovative ways. Dr. Rafeeqi values the opportunity to develop a therapeutic relationship with his patients while utilizing all the aspects of surgery he enjoys to drastically improve his patients’ lives. He has a deep interest in minimally invasive techniques and specializes in robotic and laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery, and upper GI surgery. 

After being raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Rafeeqi attended medical school in Pakistan and completed advanced training at Morristown Medical Center, Stanford University, Valley Health System, and The Oregon Clinic Foregut Surgery.  

Dr. Rafeeqi loves Portland’s welcoming community and its easy access to nature. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and looks forward to exploring more of the Pacific Northwest. 

Dr. Rafeeqi speaks fluent Urdu and Hindi.
