Neila Bell believes it is an amazing privilege to have a career where she can help others improve their quality of life. She enjoys working closely with her patients to reach their personal hearing and communication goals. Neila completed her training at Oregon Health and Science University, the largest cochlear implant center in the Pacific Northwest, which fostered a strong love and skillset for working with cochlear implants.

Neila values having the ability to connect and communicate directly with her patients in the Deaf/Hard of Hearing community through her knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and by utilizing qualified ASL interpreters during appointments.

As a newcomer to Oregon, Neila has discovered Portland’s unmatched food scene and has been enjoying the experience of trying a wide variety of food from different cultures. Outside of work, she loves trying out new recipes, exploring local nature trails, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeye football and wrestling teams from afar.
