About Me

As a physician scientist, the patient is my primary focus whether I am in the clinic or in the laboratory. As a Radiation Oncologist, I focus on giving each patient the best care possible and as a scientist; I constantly ask how can this research makes a difference in the lives of my patients.

Dr. Crittenden received her M.D. from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN. She also completed her Ph.D in Immunology at the Mayo Graduate School. Dr. Crittenden finished her internship at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR, and later completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where she served as Chief Resident of the Department of Radiation Medicine.
 
Dr. Crittenden brings many honors and awards to The Oregon Clinic Radiation Oncology, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award from OHSU and the Howard Hughes Summer Fellowship Award. She has published articles in leading scientific journals on cancer therapy and combining radiation and immunotherapy.
