Marisa Sturza MD, FACOG

Marisa Sturza MD, FACOG

Dr. Marisa Sturza knows there are few things in life as exciting as being with a parent for the birth of their child, and sharing these experiences with patients energizes and brings joy to her life. She guides patients through their fertility journeys, pregnancies, motherhood, and teaches patients of all ages about how their bodies work.

As a physician, mother, and former volunteer doula, Dr. Sturza understands pregnancy and birth from multiple perspectives. She applies her training in community psychology and her experience in legislative policymaking to better understand the complex issues that her patients face, and to help them access health care in a way that works for their needs. She takes time to meet patients where they are, listen to their stories, and develop a care plan that empowers them to achieve their reproductive or gynecologic goals.

Dr. Sturza appreciates the diverse talents and passions of the people who live in the Portland area and loves their overall dedication to community. She enjoys the food scene, drinking good coffee, and spending time with her husband, daughter, dog, and friends. Inspired by the beauty of the area, Dr. Sturza tries to spend as much time outside as possible.
