Margaret Jansa, WHNP-BC
About Me
My practice philosophy is to help women understand the anatomy of their bodies in a safe, trusting environment so they are equipped with the knowledge to make the best decisions regarding their care and wellness.
Margaret chose her specialty due to a desire to help women understand the power and complexity of their bodies.
There is no aspect of women’s care that Margaret shies away from. She feels confident in all aspects of contraceptive management. She treats persistent abnormal uterine bleeding and is trained in the workup and initiation of noninvasive management for urinary incontinence.
The thing Margaret enjoys most about work is when a woman who feels victim to her menstrual cycle learns the what and why behind it, and gains a greater appreciation for their body and themself.
The thing Margaret likes best about Portland is the water. She’s lived in the desert and high mountains for most of her life, so access to water is very refreshing.
When not working, Margaret enjoys exploring places to eat and drink in her neighborhood, playing board games with her extended family, and going on family bike rides with her husband and son.
