Dr. Landon Horne has always been drawn to the intricate and complex nature of the hand and surgical treatment for conditions of the hand. He has a special interest in thumb arthritis and surgery of the thumb, as well as treating distal radius and carpal injuries.
Dr. Horne finds it incredibly rewarding to work with patients and help restore function and alleviate pain in their hands and wrists. He is always filled with gratitude when patients tell him they have fully returned to their work and leisure activities like hobbies, sports, or playing musical instruments.
The Pacific Northwest, especially Oregon, is the ideal home for Dr. Horne. He loves living in Portland for its vibrant urban offerings and its central location for exploring Mt. Hood, the coast, and hundreds of other towns and attractions. Outside of work, Dr. Horne and his wife enjoy outdoor pursuits such as hiking, biking, running, and skiing on Mt Hood. When indoors, he can be found reading and painting. Always up for learning new things, Dr. Horne is studying piano and the Japanese language.
