Bladder and pelvic floor issues negatively affect women’s lives in so many ways: self-esteem, social connection, intimacy, employment, and financially. I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with our patients as they learn about these conditions and find the treatment options that work best for them.

Kimberly (who also goes by her nickname “Kimo”) has provided comprehensive women’s health care (both obstetrics and gynecology) for women of all ages for the past 25 years. She also has 11 years as an Operating Room Nurse and 10 years as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. This combination of skills and experience offers her a uniquely holistic perspective to assess, educate and assist our patients as they navigate through their care with and beyond OC.

Bladder and pelvic floor issues negatively impact women’s lives in so many ways. Kimberly enjoys working in an area of women’s healthcare that has a major impact on quality of life and empowerment of women.

Most gynecology patients never offer that they have bladder or pelvic floor problems, even when these problems are huge burdens. Kimberly learned early in her career that simply asking patients about their bladder experiences opens the door to profound, life-changing treatment journeys.

Kimberly moved to the Pacific Northwest from Vermont in search of bigger mountains, better coffee, dry, blue-sky summers with no biting insects. It did not disappoint. She has seen Portland grow and expand into an amazing art, music, health and foodie mecca with lush, green forest trails and waterways close-by.

Outside of work, Kimberly likes to spend time with family exploring the the Pacific Northwest trails, lakes, and beaches, playing or seeing live music, learning new instruments, tending to her veggie garden, cooking with all that colorful goodness, and grazing through Portland’s diverse food scene.
