About Me

My goal is to build a relationship with each of my patients to allow them to feel heard, cared for, educated, and empowered to make informed decisions in their hearing journey.

- Elizabeth Rumney, AuD

Elizabeth chose to pursue audiology because she feels communication is pivotal to having a good quality of life. In audiology clinical work, she’s able to help her patients improve their ability to communicate by bettering their hearing abilities. Elizabeth feels that being able to watch her patients overcome previous barriers is one of the greatest honors and passions in her life.

Elizabeth has received additional training in cochlear implants, osseointegrated hearing devices, and pediatric care. She also provides additional assistance with devices that improve hearing and communication, beyond typical hearing aid management.

Other Interests:
Elizabeth moved to the Portland metro area several years ago and is fond of the diversity of life that’s present here. She loves the wide variety of cultures, food, hobbies, and natural spaces.

When not at work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, biking, and hanging out with her dog. She also loves trying out new food and coffee shops around Portland.
