Desiray Anderson is drawn to the intersection of movement, function, and whole-person health. She believes physical therapy has the power to change how people experience healthcare by empowering them, restoring confidence and movement in their bodies, and supporting overall long-term health and wellness. Desiray’s approach centers on providing conservative, evidence-based care and building meaningful relationships with patients. Her goal is to not just to treat pain, but to help people understand their bodies and regain function so they can return to activities that give their lives meaning.
Desiray brings advanced experience working in primary care and triage-based settings alongside medical providers. In addition to orthopedic physical therapy, she holds a certification in nutrition coaching and enjoys integrating lifestyle, movement, and wellness strategies to support long-term health and recovery.
Born and raised in New Mexico, Desiray moved to the Portland area for her PT education and stayed after graduation. She loves the region’s changing seasons, abundant outdoor activities, welcoming community, and incredible food scene. Outside of the office, you’ll find Desiray hiking, camping out of her rooftop tent, traveling, hitting the gym, or competing in indoor and beach volleyball. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her beagle, Bennett.
Desiray is an intermediate Spanish speaker.
