Dr. Debbie Cheng enjoys developing long-term, meaningful relationships with patients who live with chronic illnesses, such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr. Cheng focuses on providing evidence-based care in a field that has interested her since medical school, and she has special interest in the impact gastrointestinal disease has on the normal functioning of the digestive system. Dr. Cheng feels honored to provide care, including by performing endoscopic procedures, to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Cheng focused her clinical training on inflammatory bowel disease during her gastroenterology fellowship. She was a faculty member at the Crohn’s Colitis Center at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center prior to joining The Oregon Clinic.

Outside of work, Dr. Cheng loves to get outside to go running, hiking, and biking, and exploring Oregon with her family, husband, and young child.
