Anna Vannice finds gastroenterology to be a fascinating combination of treating complex conditions and the opportunity to build long-lasting patient relationships. She is passionate about helping patients understand their conditions and navigate treatment options through individualized, patient-centered care.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Anna spent 12 years working as a registered nurse in acute care settings, caring for patients with a wide range of both acute and chronic conditions. That extensive clinical background allows her to approach care with a broad, whole-person perspective while maintaining a focused expertise in gastroenterology. Above all, Anna wants every patient to feel genuinely listened to and cared for, the same way she would want a family member to be treated. She deeply values developing a trusting practitioner/patient relationship over time.
Originally from Chicago, Anna loves that Portland offers easy access to both the mountains and the ocean, making it an ideal place to enjoy the outdoors while remaining part of a vibrant city. Outside of the office, Anna enjoys running, reading, and exploring everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her husband, daughter, and their two toy Australian shepherds.
