Alexandra Bahling found her calling at the intersection of art and medicine. With a love of working with her hands, she knew early on that plastic surgery was the specialty for her. She loves the visible, meaningful improvements that plastic surgery brings to a patient’s function and confidence.  

As a bilingual Spanish speaker who spent three years living abroad, Alexandra understands firsthand how essential clear communication is to quality care. She draws on her experience to help patients navigate their care with confidence. Building meaningful connections with patients is what she finds most rewarding about her work. She values being a steady presence throughout a patient’s treatment process to answer questions, set expectations, and help them feel at ease.  

Outside the office, Alexandra embraces Portland’s stunning natural surroundings, unique neighborhoods, and especially its thriving coffee shop culture. When she’s not exploring the city, you’ll find her hiking, traveling, crafting, or spending time with family and friends.
