You may be concerned about how ongoing contract negotiations between Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield and Providence Health will impact your care.
The Oregon Clinic is a separate entity from Providence, and we want to assure you that we will continue to accept Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Regence and Providence are in continued negotiations. If an agreement is not reached, the current date of termination of care is January 15, 2024 for commercial insurance and February 15, 2024 for Regence Medicare Advantage plans. This may impact surgeries and procedures at Providence facilities, and the following ambulatory surgery centers:
- Cornell SurgiCenter
- Providence East Pavilion Surgery Center at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center
- SCA Health Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center
We know Regence will have some continuity of care provisions and they will share them once finalized. The Oregon Clinic is doing our best to ensure access for our patients.
