Esther chose the field of gastroenterology because there is a very big need for providers in this area. An important moment in her career was when one of her patients agreed to get a colonoscopy which ended up finding a precancerous polyp.
Esther enjoys living in Portland because of the different seasons. Outside of work, she likes hiking, meeting new people, and volunteering.
