Michael Oschwald, PA
My goal is to provide excellent care to my patients that improves their quality of life allowing them to enjoy what matters most to them. I want to not only treat current conditions but also help you to optimize your cardiovascular fitness to promote long term health.
Michael grew up in Minnesota with an abundance of lakes and forests to explore where he developed an appreciation for the natural world and science. He attended the University of Minnesota in Duluth on the shore of Lake Superior and attained a bachelor degree in exercise physiology. This prepared him to work as a cardiology technician performing exercise testing and electrocardiograms in the Portland metro area in preparation for PA school for which he traveled to Montana to attend Rocky Mountain College and received a master’s degree in PA studies with an emphasis on cardiology and orthopedics. After graduation he returned to work as a Cardiology PA in partnership with Dr. Ilias-Khan.
Outside of the clinic Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and dog who enjoy going on adventures together whether it be going for a walk on Mt. Tabor or climbing Mt. Hood. He also enjoys cycling for enjoyment and commuting, snowboarding, photography, video games, camping and fishing.
