About Me
Patients hear better and feel better when their needs are heard and placed at the forefront.
While he was an undergraduate student, Marshall attended an Audiology convention, and heard a former touring musician speak about the tumultuous journey to diagnosing and treating his hearing loss. As someone who grew up in a very musical family, Marshall felt a deep connection between his studies and the musician’s experience. As he learned more about Audiology, his fascination and connection with the field grew.
Marshall received advanced hearing aid programming and troubleshooting training, as well as training in tinnitus evaluation and intervention during his residency at Loyola University Medical Center.
Marshall’s favorite part of his job is counseling patients to help figure out what it is they feel they’re missing out on in their daily lives due to their hearing loss, so he can provide patient-specific solutions that address their needs. He’s regularly been told that his patients can tell he’s genuinely excited about his work.
Marshall loves Portland because of the pace of the area, the access to incredible food, and the people.
Outside of work, Marshall enjoys experimenting with different musical instruments.
