Lucy Arenzana Lopez, PA-C
"‘When women take care of their health, they become their own best friend" – Maya Angelou. My role as a PA is to help empower my patients to make informed decisions on what is best for their health.
Lucy chose to work in the OBGYN field because she is passionate about women's health. She chose to subspecialize in Urogynecology because of the potential to change patients’ quality of life with a range of options, from minor surgeries to noninvasive alternatives.
She enjoys helping her patients and empowering them to make choices about their health that work best for them. She finds it gratifying to see the change in her patients’ quality of life as their health issues are addressed.
Lucy is originally from Mexico but grew up traveling the world. She has lived in more than five different countries and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. As a recent transplant to Portland, Lucy is thrilled to be living here. She loves Portland because access to some of the most beautiful areas in the US is only a short drive away, and there is an array of farm-to-table restaurants and breweries.
Outside of work, Lucy loves to bake from scratch. She and her significant other are also thrill seekers and love to bike, hike, and camp and go on other outdoor adventures.
