Jillian Bain, RN, MS, FNP-BC
Jillian began her career in medicine working as a Registered Nurse; with an Associate of Science in nursing from Clark College and, later, a Bachelor of Science from Oregon Health and Science University. In her capacity as a Registered Nurse, she worked in both inpatient and outpatient medicine, including cardiac intensive care units, telemetry units, a bariatric surgery unit, several cardiology clinics, and dialysis.
Keenly interested in gaining more knowledge, and being able to provide a higher level of patient care, Jillian returned to school to obtain her Master's Degree from Oregon Health and Science University, to allow her to become a Family Nurse Practitioner provider. Jillian sought out becoming a Nurse Practitioner provider because she really believed in and valued the core nursing philosophies; including a very holistic approach to patient care, with a strong emphasis on education and preventative medicine. She felt that becoming a Nurse Practitioner provider was the best fit, and would allow her to be the type of provider she felt could be very effective in helping patients.
In her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jillian is nationally board certified in family medicine by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and American Nurses Credentialing Center. As a Nurse Practitioner provider, she has provided comprehensive and thorough patient care in the outpatient setting; including family medicine clinics, a health center at a deaf school, as well as Medical Director for an outpatient cardiac treatment center.
Jillian is a strong believer and advocate for ensuring that each and every patient has access to the care and services that they need. She loves working with patients, and works to ensure that patients have all of the information and education they need to be active participants in their healthcare.
Jillian genuinely treasures living in the Northwest and adores the rain. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, traveling, learning about and trying new things.
