"Caring for patients with cancer and other surgical problems is a passion that I have followed since I started performing surgery in 1987. Three extra years of training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York gave me additional skills to offer patients here in Oregon with pancreatic and other malignancies. Knowing how and when to operate and when to offer other treatments for cancer has helped me provide a relatively unique level of service to many people. I feel fortunate to work with other physicians in my practice group and nursing staff at our hospitals, as they perform their duties at the highest level and allow me to do the same."
