It has come to our attention that there is a "scam" occurring nationwide where an unknown person calls your house asking about your cardiac monitor device. They may ask you for personal information or offer to come to your home to fix a problem with the device. This is a scam. Cardiac device companies never contact patients directly and never offer to come to your house. If you receive one of these calls, do not give out any personal information or invite anyone to your home. Contact the police and report the incident to your primary cardiologist.
